How to Use the Survey Procedures Hub
The SPH is designed around one operational chain: prepare the context and assets, verify readiness, execute the work, preserve exceptions, hand over responsibility and retain an auditable history.

Quick Start · First Offshore Shift
Use this sequence when operating the system for the first time.
01
Confirm Project & Vessel
Confirm the active project, vessel and operational context before creating records.
02
Take the 12h Watch
Open Shift Control, identify the incoming Surveyor and take the correct 00–12 or 12–00 watch.
03
Review & ACK Handover
Read inherited open actions and acknowledge the handover before continuing the operation.
04
Confirm Assets
Check serial/UID, physical installation, transponder location, battery, frequency, maintenance and certificates.
05
Run Operational Readiness
Select the operation and resolve required-asset REVIEW or NO-GO conditions before work starts.
06
Execute the Procedure
Use the operational guide and confirm controlled company/project/OEM references when required.
07
Operate & Log Exceptions
Normal asset and readiness events feed the shift automatically. Manually log only meaningful operational events and exceptions.
08
Prepare Relief
Review OPEN actions, configuration changes, equipment issues and handover notes; identify the incoming Surveyor.
09
Relieve & Close Watch
Close the watch only after the next Surveyor is identified. The next watch receives the inherited actions for ACK.
10
Audit the History
Use Shift History to trace who handed over what, ACK status, issues and actions carried across watches.
Operations Guide
Confirm project, vessel and operational context.
Verify required equipment in Asset Control.
Confirm where each transponder/sensor is physically installed.
Review maintenance due and certificate validity.
Select the operation in Asset Operational Readiness.
Resolve NO-GO and assess REVIEW items before starting.
What should be automatic?
Asset installation / movement → Shift Timeline
Maintenance ATTENTION / FAIL → OPEN Action + Handover
Certificate risk → OPEN Action when relevant
Operational Readiness → Shift record
Relief → inherited actions for next Surveyor
ACK → permanent Shift History evidence
Document authority
SPH guidance supports execution and operational consistency. Controlled company procedures, project requirements, approved risk assessments and applicable OEM manuals remain authoritative. Model-, firmware-, vessel- and project-specific parameters must be confirmed against those controlled sources.
